Overview
A guided form that school owners complete in about 5 to 7 minutes. It covers the school, its pupils and staff, its finances and each area of ICT need, and hands Costech everything required to prepare for the free visit.
The problem
Commercial terms are agreed in person at the free visit, so the team needs a school's size, finances and needs before it arrives. The first version of the form did that well, but it ran on a third-party form service and sent school revenue and budget details by plain email.
What we built
- Five steps with per-step validation and a preview of every question before starting
- Follow-up questions that only appear when they apply, across seven areas of need
- Progress saved on the device, so a dropped connection loses nothing
- An indicative budget estimate as schools answer, in rounded ranges only
- Submissions encrypted at rest, with a reference number and confirmation email
